Chad Day

I am a DJ and professionally trained Master of Ceremonies by the one-and-only Mike Manzi of the Greater Cincinnati area. I got my start in 2001 while I was a college student looking to earn a few extra bucks on the weekends. I began by shadowing other great DJ entertainers’ performances for mainly wedding receptions. I quickly learned what it takes to make every wedding reception unique, how to engage an audience, and how to pay attention to every small detail to ensure avery successful and fun celebration. I earned my way into being ready to take on gigs on my own.  As I honed my skills as a professional entertainer, I realized that I am fortunate to have the unique talent that it takes to be great in this field.

Eventually, I was able to purchase my own sound and lighting equipment and began sub-contracting for a few different DJ companies. I graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and moved from Northern Kentucky to Owensboro, KY in 2006. I pursued my dream of self-employment and formed Have A Nice Day Mobile Entertainment in 2011. Focusing on the bride and groom as the center of attention and fulfilling their desires has been the recipe for many happy newlyweds, and also their family and closest friends. I have a true passion for helping my clients realize their ultimate dreams and it is my goal to be the main reason that their event is one that will be remembered forever!
